Meet the Staff!
Jan Twede Williams
Owner/Director
JJan grew up in Syracuse Utah, where she was highly involved in
many musical groups and dance productions. She was a member of the "Weber State Singers" under
the direction of Evelyn Harris and also served as a choreographer. She had the opportunity to play "Molly" in the"Unsinkable Molly Brown" at Rogers Memorial Theater. "Dorcas"
in "Seven Brides for
Seven Brothers," and played the "Witch" in "Into the Woods" at
the Layton Amphitheater. For the past 12 years Jan has lived in San Diego
California, where she has furthered her career in Musical Theater. She taught
private voice and piano lessons, Performed with C.C.T. "Traditions of Christmas" at Symphony Hall. She was
the Director and Choreographer for the production of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"and "Fiddler on the Roof".
While in San Diego Jan directed many singing
performing groups Including...."Vocal Vision","In Harmony","One Voice"
and the "Key Note Kids". She opened
up her own studio "ShowStopper
Productions" in Spring Valley California. She has aught a number of Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop classes. She has directed and
choreographed more musical numbers that she has lost count!
Jan has a love of , and talent for music that
is infectious, and her upbeat attitude can inspire even the grouchiest of
would-be-performers to crack a smile.
Message from Jan...
"I
love teaching children to enjoy Musical Theater; it is my dream come
true. When you love what you do, you'll never work another day in your
life. My goal or mission is to instill a love for music in all
the children I have a chance to teach. I want to build each
child's confidence so no matter what they become they will stand with
dignity and strength.
Each child has the potential for growth and greatness; they just need
some direction and lots of love! There's nothing better than seeing a
child walk through my door shy and inhibited, then in just a few months
time turn into a shining
star on stage! It gives me a great satisfaction to know that what I can
do can make a difference in the self esteem and confidence in so many
children's lives."
